The City of Campbell River invites tenders for the Smith Road Watermain project which includes the following generalized scope of work: Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, extend 38mm watermain and install blowoff, service 650 and 670 Smith Road, and abandon existing services on Otter Road. During the course of construction, the Contractor will be required to maintain vehicle traffic along the roads and affected intersections at all times and access to all properties located within the project limits unless otherwise coordinated with the Owner and affected property owners. Also included is the requirement to coordinate the necessary permanent asphalt paving with the City’s paving contractor – Tayco Paving, which is delivered under separate contract, and the requirement to reinstate existing pavements markings after paving work is complete. A mandatory site meeting will NOT be held. |
