The City of Campbell River is seeking qualified firms provide comprehensive professional services for the design and construction of surface upgrades to the southern section of the Seagull Walkway. The scope of work will include a new walkway surface, new urban furnishings and plantings, new lighting and new railing. The project must align with the vision articulated in the 2017 ReFresh Downtown Plan and the development permit guidelines contained within the City’s Official Community Plan.

The success of this project is highly dependent on coordination with the adjacent development of 811 Island Highway currently being constructed by Crown Pacific. Full integration of urban designs between the City’s work within the public space and the developer’s works within private property is essential to ensure a high calibre and seamless project finish.
